Abstract:
The investigations are based on determining the influence of intestinal microflora variation on the
level of postvaccination antibody titers against Newcastle disease. Thus, several chicken groups were vaccinated
and implicitly, there were taken samples for making subsequent serological tests in order to determine the
antibody titers and also intestinallavagesto determine microflora. As a result, it was determined that the variation
of qualitative intestinal microflora is insignificant and the level of maternal antibody titers against Newcastle
disease, at the age of one day, is quite high and it is able to protect chickens up to the age of 15-20 days, when
the first vaccination is recommended.
