Abstract:
The purpose of the research was to investigate the contribution of lipid and protein components in the manifestation of adaptive-compensatory changes of gametes of animals in hypothermal conditions. The studies were subject to identical conditions, control and experimental variants. The revealed changes in the ratio protein:lipid of plasma membranes of the gametes and the molar ratio of cholesterol:phospholipids in the process of cryopreservation of sperm of the bull, rooster and boar. The identified cryogenic changes of proteins and lipids in the sperm of animals serve as an indicator of their participation in the adaptive-compensatory reactions at low temperatures. The content of phospholipids and cholesterol in the membranes of native spermatozoa of the bull and boar is almost at the same level, while the gametes of the cock above it. Changing the ratio of phospholipids:cholesterol in gametes with cryopreservation are species-specific character, downward for the gametes of the bull and of the boar and in the direction of increasing - for the gametes of a rooster.
