Abstract:
This analysis deals with the law, institutions and policy concerning agriculture and food - an area of fundamental interest for the effective functioning of the economy and social structures in Moldova. The significance of agriculture to the economy and population of Republic of Moldova is reflected in the extent of its legislation. There are approximately 120 key legal acts currently in force in the sector. The importance of reviewing and amending it as required is demonstrated by the priority given to legal approximation and the resources dedicated to this task.
