Abstract:
The influence of open field conditions on fruit yield and quality of 6 indeterminate tomato hybrids (Lycopersicon esculentum) was studies. The experiments were conducted in center regions of Moldova. The plants were grown on an open field supported on bamboo stick . The highest marketable yield was obtained with Nemo-Neta hybrid (117,5 t/ha). This cultivar had good quality characteristics (firmness, redness of skin, thickness of pericarp and cracking resistance.
